Biography:

I was excited to join the NCIS as a young Ph.D. after having served as a visiting assistant professor at Colby College and transitioning to working as a private high school teacher. It has been a source of scholarly camaraderie and encouragement as I continue to work on research projects, papers, and a book project. I was able to present at the recent NCIS conference in Amherst, MA, on a recent paper that I had completed and found the NCIS community a wonderful group of individuals. I was able to make friends and meet many people who I had "met" online.
