Cornucopia II: A Source Book of Edible Plants
A work on edible plants of the world derived in part from 'Cornucopia: A Source Book of Edible Plants', previously completed in two editions. This new compendium will further the unique qualities of those works, which combine botany, horticulture and gastronomy in unique ways, using an expanded format with approximately five headings, and sidebar essays. It will enumerate most or all of the world’s edible plants with selected algae, fungi and bacteria and will be extensively illustrated. Sidebar essays will describe such interesting subjects as “Biffins” from ‘Norfolk Beefing’ apples, Bar-le-Duc currant preserves and Kopi Luwak.
