Priya Parrotta Natarajan is a writer, musician, and editor who probes the connections between music, multiculturalism, and environmental sustainability in our globalized world.
She is Founder and Director of Music & the Earth, an international initiative which encourages dialogue, and writing, about the role of music in the global climate movement.
Educated at Brown University and subsequently at Oxford, Priya is the author of The Politics of Coexistence in the Atlantic World, a handbook on coexistence in the Americas (the Caribbean in particular).
As an editor, Priya works with researchers (in environment and related fields) to make their writing as engaging and accessible as possible. She recently worked with the International Union of Forest Research Organizations in Vienna, Austria.
